Description
Also know as the Key lime, Bartender’s lime, Kaghzi Nimbu, Gallego lime, Limon Corriente and the West Indian lime; this tree produces an abundance of fragrant, white flowers, appearing mainly in the spring and summer, and a bounteous crop of small, thin skinned, round fruit of good quality, with fine textured flesh. Once full maturity is reached, fruit drop from the branch. Mature trees are medium in size, bushy and spreading, almost shrub-like and cold sensitive like all true limes.
