The Persian lime is thought to be a cross between a key lime and a lemon. Its juicy flesh is pale green and delicately textured. It is seedless, nearly thornless and more cold-hardy then the Mexican lime. This tree displays vigorous growth and is medium large at maturity. The fruit is ready late fall through winter and will drop from the tree when it has reached maturity.
